Hey there! So happy youโre here!
So happy youโre here! Grab a glass of fizz, or a thc seltzer, and letโs hang! Iโm an Angeleno-native that just relocated to the midwest. MAMA to the 3 most wonderful children in the entire world, and married to the universeโs greatest man. I was an acclaimed celebrity yoga trainer, meditation teacher, and holistic health coach for over 10 years, and currently spend my time as a present and grateful SAHM.
Now, I still help mamaโs with their wellness: but not in a yoga studio. I get to add value to your lives with my kids on my hip.
Ditch that handheld screen: put marker to paper and zen the F out with me. Our kids are the ONLY followers that matter. Check my blog and Pinterest for free printable coloring pages and get your mama mellow time!

Quick and easy dinner brought to you by Peppa Pig and Puffs! I wouldnโt have posted this recipe but Luke usually rejects pasta, and this time he took a bite and said โYUMโ and kept saying yum eating the whole filling and nutritious meal!
While bone broth has become pretty trendy it is actually a practice that has been used for centuries-most especially for the postpartum period. I am breaking up my nourishing daily musts into little shorter posts so as to not overwhelm. Here is the next bite: BONE BROTH!
So, did my grandma know what was up, or what?
Hereโs why (even if youโre not trying to replenish postpartum or clean up for conception) we should all be having a warm glass of lemon water a day!
As we embark on our second trip with Luke I wanted to let you know what I bring on board with me to help make the journey a little less stressful.
Less than three weeks and Iโm already feeling more like ME than I have in a very long timeโฆ
To get vaccinated or not get vaccinatedโฆReady to go on a loopy roller coaster only for it to then come to an abrupt stop?
For the sake of nobody having time to read the most insanely long post on all the things Iโm doing to replenish my body so I can continue to breastfeed Luke AND prepare myself for a second pregnancy-Iโll break things up in smaller bites. This one is all about Nettle Leaf, and why if youโre wanting to get pregnant, or have had a baby-you should drink it daily.
Nothing is worse than having a sick kid-except maybe a sick baby because you canโt explain whatโs happening! Here is a detox bath I take with Luke once a day to help clear the airways and get his body healthy again!
Luke has croup-The first thing I did, besides call the doctor, was think of every possible way I could help him get through this illness as quickly as possible. And of course the first thing that came to my mind was: CHICKEN SOUP!
After being a mama, and working in the birthing space for a while, I have come across the same things over and over that so many women (including myself) didnโt know before having a baby. Here are a few important little tid bits I wish more women knew:
If youโve googled โWhen will my baby sleep?โ โWhy does my baby cry at night?โ โHow can I sleep train without leaving my baby to cry?โ โWhy does my baby hate sleep?โ โDoes my baby hate me?!โ โHow long should I let my baby scream so loud Iโm sure my neighbors are going to call CPSโฆโ you arenโt alone!
What happened?
I wonder that a lot. Where did it take the turn itโs taken? There has always been division in this country, thatโs honestly what our country was built upon. But somewhere along the line in the last 5 years people have stopped reaching, and instead hurl rage, across the aisle at one another.
I canโt believe my little man is almost 6 months old! I wanted to put together an easy to click list of items that have have been game changing for us over these last six months together!
Nobody knows what itโs like to give birth and be in the fourth trimester during a global pandemic than those of us that are currently doing so. And for us: there is no roadmap.
I have to assume all of this craziness, all of this uncertainty, everything we as a world and as a country are experiencing right now is part of a master plan. That these last weeks of my pregnancy and my birth plan have been hijacked for a greater cause. โฃ
All I know is nothing is certain right now: which I was okay with when it was just about my pregnancy and labor. But to know that the uncertainty of what my labor will be and when it will be is now teamed up during a time of world wide uncertaintyโฆ this is a very unique and bizarre experience.
In times like these where it seems everyone is spinning, itโs important to stay grounded, to continue to come back to gratitude, and to love yourself HARD.
Here are the things I decided to bring with me to the hospital for labor AND my postpartum stay at the hospital.
Because trying to figure out what to register for can be a total headache if you let it!
Stop making excuses, stop thinking youโre not โgoodโ at yogaโฆyou canโt be โgoodโ or โbadโ at yogaโฆ
There are so many wild wellness practices out there, it can be overwhelming and off-putting trying to figure out which ones are totally woo-woo, versus which ones workโฆ
Since there is no way we are the only couple on earth with a less than massive space for our newborn, I wanted to share with you how and what we did to create a sweet area for our little man in our space.
